Please excuse the incongruous French in the name, but this is a sweet little house. Second row, but with oceanview, and located in an extremely popular neighborhood, this house is within easy walking distance to either Chicxulub Puerto or Progreso.
The dining area, with seating for 5 (6, if you use the stool) is airy and light. A counter separates this area from the kitchen and is perfect for serving the table or for having a quick bite to eat.
The kitchen comes well-equipped with a full-size refrigerator, gas range and oven, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. Looking back from the kitchen, you see the stairs that go to the second floor (which is the private apartment of the owner, and not available to renters).
The door to the left goes to the bathroom which is built under the stairs. This is an arrangement that results in a stepped bathroom, which is to say, you open the door and there's the sink, then down a step to the WC, then down a step to the shower.
But you're going to want to spend your time enjoying the tropics, and this house has not only a porch on the Gulf side, but a large back yard with shade and flowering plants (and your own lime tree), and a palapa. The side porch takes you back to the front and the view of the Gulf, with the beach only meters away from your front gate.
Located
in a popular area that is almost half way between Progreso (approx. 3
km) and Chicxulub Puerto (approx. 2 km), convenient to shopping and
restaurants. The buses and collective cabs run on the main streets, a 2-
or 3-block walk...and remember that you can arrange transportation via YVHR...or if you have a car, there´s off-street parking.
