First, just a word about this unique property. There are only 10 units. Off-street parking is shaded by a large palapa (one space per villa). The entrance is through a secured gate, and there's a part-time caretaker on duty who can help you with your groceries as well as keeping the common area clean and neat.
In each villa, the open concept flows from the living room (smart TV), through the dining area (seating for 4) and into the kitchen, where there's a full-size fridge, electric range with oven, coffee maker, blender, and microwave oven.* Large windows and sliding glass doors form one wall of these rooms as well as along the hallway, and open to your private pool and patio area.
Bedrooms. Just past the kitchen, down the hallway, is the guest bathroom. Next to that, the guest bedroom has a double bed, A/C, ceiling fan, closet and dresser, and lots of natural light. At the end of the hall, the master bedroom has a king size bed, A/C and ceiling fan. To the side, a walk-through closet leads to the en suite facilities. Large enough to have a sitting area, there is a TV here, also. Long curtains give you privacy from the pool, and allow you to sleep-in late without the sunlight bothering you. Sliding glass doors open to the pool area as well as giving easy access to the stairs that take you up to the rooftop pergola.
(A storage area, near the master bedroom, has a washing machine for your use.)
Upstairs, shaded by the pergola, there's a boat-bar with stools and swings. Cooling breezes make this a comfortable place to enjoy during the day as well as in the evening.
Located in Progreso, you're only three blocks from the Gulf. You're also only a block or two away from public transportation; another block or two will take you to some popular expat restaurants; and only a couple of blocks more will take you to the malecon, the oceanfront walkway where you find a large variety of restaurants, bars and shops (including the local kiosks).
