(ask about Casa Marie Adele)
While you're staying at Casa Marie Adele, you're only blocks away from the Gulf and the assortment of restaurants and bars that line the malecón, but it's always nice to come home. Past the sala (living room), is the dining area (seating for 4). Beyond that, a bar and 3 bar stools offer a place to have a quick bite to eat, or to sit while someone else does the cooking.
The kitchen is well-equipped, with a full-size fridge, gas range with oven, microwave, toaster, coffee-maker and blender.* The large windows keep the kitchen light and airy, and offer a view of the pool.
The swimming pool enjoys the shade of a palm tree, and three stools allow you to sit in the shade and enjoy the best of the tropics. The pool has a built-in filter. There's also outdoor furniture and a charcoal grill. Back inside, past the kitchen, is the door to the bathroom.
Bedrooms. Another door leads from the bathroom to the guest bedroom, which has a queen-size bed, ceiling fan, and a ropero (the traditional wooden wardrobe). From this bedroom, double doors open to the master bedroom. Here there is air conditioning, ceiling fan, a queen-size bed, and an open closet with space for folded items. Another set of double doors leads from this master bedroom out to the living room.
Located in Progreso, you're half a block from public transportation that will take you into the downtown area, and one and a half blocks from the one-way street where traffic goes the other way, either bringing you back from downtown, or taking you on east toward Chicxulub Puerto.
