Coming in from the patio, you enter the main room, with easy chairs to the left and the dining area (seating for 6) to the right. The kitchen is to the rear, with a pass-through bar/counter top (2 stools). Across the hall from the kitchen is the downstairs bedroom with double bed, A/C (ceiling fan, closet), and a small chest of drawers. To the rear of the kitchen is the downstairs/guest bathroom, and beyond that, the back door. The property is large, with two gates for off-street parking, and lots of coconut palms. Next to the house, is a sink for hand washables and space for a clothesline.
Coming back in and going toward the front patio, you pass the kitchen which is conveniently located for service to the dining room or the patio and pool area. The kitchen comes with a full-size fridge, 4-burner stove top, blender, microwave and coffee maker.*
The upstairs is dedicated to the master bedroom and ensuite bath. There's a queen size bed, A/C, TV with cable, and a chest of drawers. There's also a large closet/storage area. A large window and a sliding glass door to the balcony on the north, provide lots of light without the heat of direct sun. This private balcony offers a glimpse of the Gulf and comfortable chairs for a peaceful setting.
Located about 11 km east of Progreso, on a quiet beach road. The beach itself is less than 50 meters (yards) down a maintained access road. For public transportation, if you don't have a car, it's about a 5-block walk to the main road. There you can flag down the collective cabs (about every 20 minutes except on Sundays) and the twice-daily buses, and go into Chicxulub Puerto or Progreso.
