But you don´t want to miss this home´s charm. Coming in from the patio, there is the dining room to one side (seating for 8), with a pass-through service counter to the kitchen in the rear, and to the other side, the living room with the TV hidden in the cabinet. There are ceiling fans in these rooms, and large windows looking out to the beach and the Gulf. Coming back almost full circle to the entrance hall, there is the guest bathroom to one side. On the other side, the breakfast bar (seating for 4), opens to the kitchen. There are three (count them, three) refrigerators, so if you don´t like making trips to the store, this beach house is for you. There is also a gas range with oven, a microwave oven, a blender, a toaster and a coffee maker.*
Bedrooms: Back toward the staircase is the downstairs bedroom. There are three individual beds (or put two together for a king size and an individual) in this air conditioned bedroom (ceiling fan, closet). There is also an ensuite bathroom. Upstairs, are the other two bedrooms. One has a queen size bed, and wooden furnishings (dressing table, chest of drawers). There´s air conditioning, room to sit and relax, and an ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed, beautiful furnishings, A/C (ceiling fan, also) and a TV. There is a walk-in closet/dressing room, and ensuite bathroom.
Inside and out, there are thoughtful touches that make this beach house so pleasant that you won´t know where to spend your time. And, there are two safes in case you want to lock up your small documents or some money.
Located on a great stretch of beach about 5 minutes east of Chicxulub Puerto, or 15 minutes east of downtown Progreso. There´s covered, off-street parking, or if you´re on foot, the collective cabs go by on the main road, only a few blocks´ away.
