This 4-room apartment in Mérida is only a block from a major thoroughfare, but here, you´re on a quiet street in the fashionable area known as Colonia Mexico. There is a parking space, just
at the bottom of the stairs, reserved for this second-floor apartment.
Furnished with beautiful woods, and accented by a great number of decorative items, this (currently) one-bedroom apartment is obviously not a place for children, and no children are allowed. The kitchen comes equipped with a gas oven and stove, which has a top that can be lowered (when not in use) to increase counter space. There is a microwave oven, and more than enough plates, glasses, cooking and eating utensils, etc. Through the swinging doors on the left, there´s the refrigerator and a storage area/pantry.
Toward the rear of the apartment, the bathroom is off to one side. Even the nook in the hallway has delicate décor (and a wine rack). The bedroom, with mirrored closet doors, has a double bed, a large chest of drawers, a beautiful wood bureau, bedside tables and A/C (ceiling fan). Also, there are bookshelves with books...all you need to bring is your suitcase and your food. The other room is currently a wonderfully comfortable study which also has A/C. (For a long term rental, the owners would consider furnishing this as another bedroom, if that´s preferred.)
This second-floor location, with its north side (shady side) entrance, has a locking security gate on the stairway.
