Back inside, to the rear of the dining area (seating for 6) is the pass-through counter to the kitchen. Three stools provide additional seating and/or a convenient place to perch for a quick bite. The kitchen comes equipped with a full-size refrigerator, gas range and oven, microwave, toaster, blender and sandwich maker.*
Through the kitchen and to the rear is the downstairs bedroom and ensuite bathroom. (While much of the house has been renovated and updated, these rooms have yet to be done.) The bedroom has a double bed (ceiling fan, closet), and has been a popular room for the kids' slumber parties.
The dining area shares its Gulf views with the living room, where there's comfortable furnishings and the large doors that open to the covered porch. To the other side, there's the entrance hallway from the back door and the parking area. Along this hallway is the guest bathroom, and the stairway up to the second floor.
Upstairs, there's a linen closet and a shared bathroom. All of the bedrooms have lots of screened windows and beautiful cedar closet doors. One room is currently used as a sitting room, but this can be furnished as a bedroom for long-term rentals. The second bedroom has two individual beds which can be pushed together, if you prefer, to make a king size bed, A/C (ceiling fan, closet) and an ensuite bathroom. The third bedroom has a king size bed and a rattan dressing table (large closet), and best of all, access to the balcony.
Whether you enjoy the Gulf from the second floor or from pool-side, this beach house offers comfort and convenience. Located just east of Chicxulub Puerto, you're within easy walking distance to restaurants, bars, and public transportation. There's also an on-site caretaker who lives just at the back of the off-street parking, and who keeps your beach area clean for you.
