This beach house has been well-maintained through the years (the owner and family take good care of it so they can come out to enjoy their vacations). Enter from the south parking area, or from the oceanfront porch on the north, and you enter the sala, where you find comfortable furniture for relaxing. Looking back, toward the kitchen, the guest bathroom, downstairs bedroom, and stairway are all to the left.
The dining table, in a nook to the side, has seating for six (more
seating on the covered porch) and is surrounded by windows and tropical
Gulf views.
The kitchen comes well-equipped with a full-size refrigerator, both microwave and toaster ovens, and a coffee-maker.* (The drawback is the gas range and oven which date from the '70's, so if you're really into cooking, you want to keep that in mind.) Around the corner of the kitchen is a storage cabinet and extra sink, and there's more storage space under the stairway.
Bedrooms: To the side of the stairs is the downstairs bedroom with one twin-size bed, closet and A/C. Just down the hallway is the guest bathroom.
Upstairs, there's a small sitting area with a bedroom on each side. Both bedrooms have king-size beds, views of the Gulf and access to the balcony. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan, closet, ensuite and A/C. The master bedroom is a bit larger, but both of them are very comfortable, and oceanfront.
Located about 10 km. east of Progreso, or 3 km. east of Chicxulub, and there is plenty of room for parking. If you're on foot, it's about a 1/2 km. walk out to the main road where you can flag down a collective cab.
