Walking toward the pool, the covered patio is just to the side. New tile and new stone accents can be found here, along with a new roof and new ceiling fans. And now there's access from the pool area to a (renovated) bathroom. That door is to the side of the covered patio, where there's durable, pool-side furniture. Under the roof, there's comfortable seating and outdoor furniture.
Entering the new, extra-wide sliding glass door (with screen) you arrive in the "new" kitchen. New granite counter tops, new cabinets, and almost new appliances (two years old). There's also a new dining table (seating for 6). Lots of windows make the kitchen wonderfully light and airy.
To the side of the kitchen is the guest bathroom (renovated), and to the rear, a storage room with freezer. The master bedroom is toward the front, and to the side. Bedrooms: This downstairs bedroom has a double bed, A/C, (ceiling fan) and the ensuite has direct access to the pool area. This bathroom has also been renovated, and a walk-through closet has been added. Just to the side of the kitchen, are the stairs to the second story bedrooms and balcony. Each of the bedrooms upstairs has a double bed, A/C (ceiling fan, closet), as well as sliding glass doors to the balcony. These bedrooms share the second floor bathroom.
The balcony overlooks the pool and garden (there's also a small balcony on the south side). Out the back gate, a short walk takes you to the access road to the beach (approximately 80 meters [yards] from gate to Gulf).
Located about 10 minutes east of Progreso, there's plenty of off-street parking. Or if you're on foot, it's about a 5-block walk out to the main road and public transportation.
