However, if you decide to go in, there is seating for 14(!) at the dining room table. The kitchen is just to the side, and comes equipped with a full-size refrigerator, gas range with oven, microwave and blender.* There are some open shelves, as well as a closed pantry and storage area. To the side is the guest bathroom (1/2 bath). Both the dining area and the kitchen look out toward the beach.
To the rear of the dining table is a small seating area, and just to the side of that is the stairway that takes you to the second floor. Upstairs, you arrive to a well-lit area, and can go straight to a full bath and a storage area with shelves. The bedrooms are on either side of this.
To the north, there are two bedrooms with great views of the Gulf. You can request larger beds, no problem, but both of these are currently furnished with individual size beds. Both have ceiling fans and open closet space. The master bedroom also has a small dressing table and ensuite bathroom. On the south side is the third bedroom, although it's not furnished until you request it.
Back on the ground floor, to the rear of the house, is a separate, large room with bath which could be used for art projects or work-outs (a kayak is available for your use, also) or whatever comes to mind. There's also a small servant's quarters to the side, and an area for washing out and hanging laundry.
Located almost directly across from the flamingo viewing tower in Uaymitun, you're about 15 minutes east of Progreso. If you're on foot, it's a short walk out to the main road where you can flag down a collective cab.
