Built on the model of the traditional Yucatecan hacienda, this new home has beamed ceilings, and long, shady verandas. The circular drive takes you around a decorative pond. Double wooden doors open to the sala and also to the large bedroom.
The dining room table seats 10, and the furnishings have been chosen to match the period of the haciendas´ era. The guest bathroom is to the side of this living room/dining room area, and the large kitchen opens off of the dining room. If you´d like to rent the mini hacienda for a special event, there is plenty of room to bring in your supplies, and the kitchen comes equipped with a gas range and oven, a refrigerator, blender and coffee maker.*
To the other side of the dining room, a door opens to the southern veranda, and the bedroom also has a door to this porch. The bedroom is large and you can request a queen size or a king size bed. There is more than enough room for another bed or two if you have young children. The ensuite bathroom is also large, and has an open shower to one side.
Also on the south side is a stairway up to the roof where you can enjoy views of the countryside and the old hacienda that´s across the road.
